Intervention - ELA & Math

Educators at PMS know that students enter the learning environment with different skill sets. An individual student’s Response to Intervention (RTI) at every Tier is unique and dependent on social learning history, genetics, and context. To reach desired outcomes in school, some students may require additional or unique instructional strategies or interventions beyond those typically available within each classroom.

At Tier 3, our efforts focus on the needs of individual students who are experiencing significant problems in the academic domains of Literacy and Math. Thus, the process at this level is more intensive and individualized. All of our work is data-driven and instruction is dictated through proven, research-based interventions. We enjoy working with our students in small groups, and work hard to make our classrooms a place where students feel successful and comfortable.
