My name is Dr. Jeffrey Heath and as the proud principal of Portsmouth High School, let me be the first to welcome you to our official website!
As you browse this important resource, it is my hope that you can feel the tremendous sense of pride that our community has for teaching and learning in all of its forms. We strongly believe that each individual, regardless of their background, has unique talents and dispositions that can be shared with the Patriot family as we strive for social, emotional, academic, and athletic excellence.
To that end, at Portsmouth High School we encourage our students to change the world… not five or 10 years from now… but right now. We champion experiential, applicable learning opportunities that aim to bring the taught content to life for our students while encouraging a full slate of educational opportunities ranging from in-class, direct instruction to community-based internship experiences. No matter your learning style, at Portsmouth High School, there truly is a path to achieving excellence for every student.
